Get featured on Scoop.it!

Hey Scoop.it users!

Want to try and get featured on Scoop.it, but don’t know how? Featured topics are picked up by our team and it’s a tough choice as there are now lots of awesome topics you guys publish. But here are the main guidelines you should follow to increase your chances to be highlighted!

1. Your topic should be in English. This is essential to be accessible to the majority of our users/readers since they come from all around the world.

2. Your topic should look as unique as you are. By putting a topic icon, this will increase the visibility of your topic and make it easily identifiable.

3. Your topic should have good-looking posts. They should be pleasant to read and look at. For this, use the formatting features to resize picture and text.

4. You should keep your readers updated. Your topic should be updated regularly so that it won’t get obsolete.

5. And last but not least: your topic should be dealing with a well-defined subject. Don’t be too global; specific topics are more relevant to interested readers.

There you go! Now you’re holding all the cards in your hands to maybe get featured on Scoop.it!

On peut ajouter qu’il faut également partager le topic.
Perso, je compte le partager sur mon blog, ce qui permet à mes lecteurs d’avoir une revue de presse en temps réel.

This is helpful.  I am confident on 4 of the 5.  My topic is a bit broad, but I love seeking and sharing the convergence of media in Society, Education, and Business.   I would love a chance to be featured some day.  Thanks for the advice.
Thanks,
Ken

hi, with the Leveson enquiry and the recent news items about the falling population in Japan and the news that ten year olds are being put on the sex offenders register because of acting out what they have viewed on porn sites, porn is a hot topic. Also I have just released the first British book to be written about porn addiction and probably the first ever to be written with a sense of humour!  http://www.scoop.it/t/porn-addiction

I understand that you are saying that the topics should be in English but then you are also nearly saying that all important knowlegde is also in English and that is of course – see the comments – not true. So why doesn’t Scoop.it diversify in several other languages and why is there no translation app available?

Bonjour Pascal.

We are all living in scary times, and the most important thing that we can do is to be well informed and aware of all of the many current topics. That is exactly what I have and continue to try and do, with all of the political video’s that i have posted. At the present time, i have over 2,380 video’s on line, 454 are under Gabe Zolna, while the balance are posted under Gabor Zolna. I seem to add approximately 10-15 additional video’s per day.

From the discussion I see that this is the place to have scoop it to feature our sites. Mine are to do with dogs: http://www.puppydazzles.com and http://trainingdogs.evangelinesamuel.com/

This is a pic. of 1st working prototype! It is a Car carrier. It uses the Auto as a Cockpit & Power supply? A comfy Cockpit with All the features needed and then some? G.P.S. would help with Navigation.Unplug and Drive off Similar to a (Rover) leaving the Unit at the Airfield or Parking lot? It could also be programmed. A (Google) craft of sorts? And it’s (Electric) reducing Auto pollution!
