Expressing yourself, sharing your passions and using curation to build the legitimacy of your expertise are strong pillars of the Scoop.it vision. They are the foundation of this strong idea that the time of curators is coming.
Each time we work on improving the experience of our community, we always keep in mind this constant aim: to augment your visibility as a talented curator.
Therefore, we want to be sure you can share your curation work everywhere and enjoy expressing yourself easily.
The Scoop.it everywhere features were created to:
- make your curation available on all your social networks in one click
- make your social life on the web as instinctive as it should be. We are not another tool to maintain. We envision to be the platform that spreads your voice everywhere fast and meaningfully.
- Be open and let you export your curation to whatever destination you want through our blog platform integration Tumblr, WordPress), our RSS feeds or our embeddable widgets.
You’ve requested it and we’ve listened: so quite logically, it’s time to offer to our users a new opportunity to share their passion on one other platform, by introducing the Google +1 button.
Wherever there is smart content to share and interest to spread, we will support you. Curators provide more than organized sources: you offer an engagement that we witness everyday on Scoop.it and of which we now measure the quality of through the recent introduction of the Scoop.it Score.
Relevant content, qualitative context and cross-platform sharing sounds to us like the winning combination for being heard, right?
+1 😉

I’m starting use it. Thank you.
Did I miss where I can d/l or install this?
Don’t need to install it! If you go to a topic, below each post you have now the Google +1 Button in the toolbar.
I have to say that these days all the G+ buttons have dissapeared from my Scoop.it site. Can you help me?
Hi Pablo, the G+ button is now under the share button:
Doesn’t appear on my posts yet….
It seems you need to use google chrome. I have in Chrome but not in Explorer
Hi PatPro, the Google +1 Button is displayed below each post, whatever the browser you use, Explorer included.
It should be displayed in the toolbar below each post (on the view mode).
Nope. Using IE7 at work, Safari on my iPad, and neither show the +1 button.Â
90 days ago, social media content curation was a foreign term to me. since then, i’ve become a SMCC fan.
Excellent work, was hoping this would happen 🙂 try using Chrome it shows up for me now @d460781dcb094947a02a3067d2c22c74:disqus
Cool txs would like to have a connect to G+ acct too if that’s possible? Please and thank you very much
Yes, the Ottoman job, congratulations.
Don’t know what is going on with Disqus but I’ve posted this 3 times now and still don’t see it… Ok, to me you’re half way there… I appreciate the +1 – but why isn’t google + now one of my “accounts” that I can connect and post to directly? In order to get an entry over on google+ in your current implementation, I have to post to scoop.it and then click the +1 button to see the ‘share’ link. Too many steps! Please make google+ a connected account so everyone can directly share in my timeline on google+ on the form where I’m “scooping.it” like I… Read more »
Yes, you’re right. But the Google+ API is not ready for that.Â
The first part that was published is read-only so that we can’t have the same UE than with FB or Twitter. We hope that Google+ will soon publish a write API as well but when we saw they were only releasing the read part, we didn’t feel like keeping our users waiting any longer. So we decided to release this implementation as it enables the sharing to G+. But we’ll come back to that: don’t worry.
Thanks for the feedback!
Why we couldn’t post anymore on G° like when it starts and just only +1 ?
is there a problem with cross-posting on LinkedIn? I don’t see any of what I recently scooped reflected there.
Also, regarding Google+: I don’t get the possibility to add a comment anymore (as of today, was working yesterday).
I don’t seem to get anything but French curation in place of English ones. Can someone have a look and fix this, fast? Thanks.

I’m extremely impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Either way keep up the excellent quality writing, it’s rare to see a nice blog like this one nowadays..

It seems that we are having issues with the LinkedIn API but don’t worry our engineering team is working on it. We will let you know asap when it is fixed.Â
Sorry for the inconvenience.
