As you may remember, two weeks ago we launched our brand new Smart Suggestion Engine. There was a lot of planning and building brand new algorithms and technologies to make this the best it could possibly be – and we want to share that with you!

We’ve been a member for a long time but never done anything on Scoopit. Why? We really don’t understand what it’s supposed to do. What do you mean by “scoop”? It isn’t clear, and isn’t explained anywhere on your site. And what do you mean by “curate”? None of this seems to make any sense. Could you please explain it in everyday language? Thank you.
Hey there! Have you checked out our Resource Center? It can be found at http://business.scoop.it/resource-center. There, we’ve got a bunch of presentations and reports about curation and also some quickstart guides to Scoop.it! Basically, a scoop is a post. You can get content suggestions on Scoop.it, and then you pick which ones you like, add your insight, and share them to your page on Scoop.it or onto your own website.
