Hey Scoop.it users!
Want to try and get featured on Scoop.it, but don’t know how? Featured topics are picked up by our team and it’s a tough choice as there are now lots of awesome topics you guys publish. But here are the main guidelines you should follow to increase your chances to be highlighted!
1. Your topic should be in English. This is essential to be accessible to the majority of our users/readers since they come from all around the world.
2. Your topic should look as unique as you are. By putting a topic icon, this will increase the visibility of your topic and make it easily identifiable.
3. Your topic should have good-looking posts. They should be pleasant to read and look at. For this, use the formatting features to resize picture and text.
4. You should keep your readers updated. Your topic should be updated regularly so that it won’t get obsolete.
5. And last but not least: your topic should be dealing with a well-defined subject. Don’t be too global; specific topics are more relevant to interested readers.
There you go! Now you’re holding all the cards in your hands to maybe get featured on Scoop.it!
D’autres recommandations en français (of course) ici : http://bit.ly/mksWDz
Read more »

Getting “featured” on Scoop is not an insignificant event. Matter of fact, my G+ Circles have seen a marked spike in quality people coming into focus. And for the record guys, this last round of feature-set upgrades have been a VERY nice addition. Strong work to you guys across the pond.
Apart from out and out bribery, how can I get my wonderful curated pages on The Countdown To Financial Armageddon featured? I meet all the 5 criteria above . . . Â
I would be so grateful to get featured. It would really help me to get noticed for a very important topic. I’ve also a very nice page with a custom background which you my be interested in.

hi, with the Leveson enquiry and the recent news items about the falling population in Japan and the news that ten year olds are being put on the sex offenders register because of acting out what they have viewed on porn sites, porn is a hot topic. Also I have just released the first British book to be written about porn addiction and probably the first ever to be written with a sense of humour!  http://www.scoop.it/t/porn-addictionÂ
Hello Scoop.it team!
Just take a look http://www.scoop.it/t/callforfree, and don’t forget to feature it please.
I understand that you are saying that the topics should be in English but then you are also nearly saying that all important knowlegde is also in English and that is of course – see the comments – not true. So why doesn’t Scoop.it diversify in several other languages and why is there no translation app available?

Bonjour Pascal.
