Curate & Schedule: Magic and easy as pie with the new BufferApp integration

Spread the love
BufferApp + Scoop.it Integration

Over a month ago, I was curating on Scoop.it and manually setting the post scheduler. I thought…wouldn’t it be great to have a BufferApp integration with my Scoop.it account? With a feature like this, I could curate and forget about it in that Donnie Brasco way.

So, I emailed Scoop.it CEO Guillaume Decugis, and he replied that his team was already working on it. Wow. I guess people beat me to the punch. I later discovered there was a great demand for the BufferApp integration from Scoop.it power users including big time influencer, Beth Kanter.

This was certainly one reason why I decided to apply for the Marketing Director position at Scoop.it. I was impressed by the team’s constant dedication to the product and the community who loves it. Now, I am happily settled into my job, which seems more like feeding my passion than work, and today, I am excited to announce on behalf of my new Scoop.it family, our awesome integration with BufferApp.

For those of you who don’t know about BufferApp, you might wonder why curators and marketers are so hungry for it. Well, while Scoop.it allows you to curate and publish more, BufferApp lets you make posting to your social networks easy by following a pre-determined schedule. Naturally, when you put BufferApp and Scoop.it together, you get to curate and publish more in one sitting without worrying about the extra step of scheduling.

As BufferApp says, it’s magic!

Go ahead and check it out! Here’s how:

First link your BufferApp and Scoop.it accounts by going to your Settings and Sharing Options page. Click on the BufferApp icon and connect your account.

Scoop.it Topic Page with BufferApp Integration You can also send posts to your BufferApp account from other Scoop.it topic pages. While logged into your account and on another Scoop.it user’s topic page, your BufferApp linked accounts will show up as icons with a half BufferApp overlay on top of your social media avatars. Select the platforms you want to post to through BufferApp and then click share.

As you can see below, the post is queued up nicely in my BufferApp account. The post will follow your BufferApp schedule and publish accordingly.

Here’s the BufferApp integration on the Scoop.it curation page. As you can see, if you’re a premium BufferApp user, you can connect more social media accounts. You can pick and choose which ones you’d like to publish to through Scoop.it on your Settings and Sharing Options page.

Hi Max! On Buffer, you can designate set times throughout that day that you want your posts to be published on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. It’ll help you maintain a consistent presence on your social networks without having to manually schedule each post. This is especially good for Scoop.it curators who like to do their curating in one sitting instead of throughout the day.

Interesting article and, on your advice, I linked to Buffer. But it seems the linking only applies to Biz or paid accounts. Is that so?
